  • How many tries did it take you to pass the course?: one
  • General information: This course talks about the core concepts for Human Computer Interaction, the design cycles, affordances, and other things you need to keep in mind when designing anything for humans.
  • Study load: I think the study load was quite light compared to other courses in the CSAI bachelor's. The group project took the most time, but preparations for the exam were, in my opinion, very easy if you went to every class.
  • Positive feedback?: I liked the way the professor gave away prizes if students answered questions during the break. It encouraged everyone to do their own research and be active in class. Furthermore, I personally enjoyed the topic and thought it was a nice addition to the bachelor's, as it's something totally different, yet comes back quite often in other courses (even if indirectly).
  • Negative feedback?: The course itself felt a little chaotic. When people answered questions in class during a discussion, sometimes they were interrupted by the professor claiming their opinion was false, and the feedback received from assignments was not always constructive or theory-based. I think this course could be a lot more if taught more hands-on and constructively.
