- University: Tilburg University
- Language: English
- Lecturer: Dr. Maryam Alimardani and Dr. Peter Hendrix
- How many tries did it take you to pass the course?: one
- General information: This course talks about the basic concepts and techniques of Linear Algebra, e.g., matrices, vectors, performing basic calculations with both, and discussing their properties.
- Study load: I think the study load for this course was quite well divided, considering the homework exercises and two exams.
- Positive feedback?: The fact that lectures were online really helped in understanding the topics better. You could rewind and pause for however long you wanted. I also really enjoyed the practicals, as a fun quiz was given where you could review the content in a playful and engaging way. The mandatory homework also made me motivated to keep up, while it was a little stressful at times.
- Negative feedback?: The second part of the course felt a lot more vague than the first part, both in content and in teaching. I also felt that if you failed the midterm, the second part of the course really ramped up in difficulty, making it even harder to catch up.
