Imagine waking up every day excited about what you do. That is something everyone deserves, especially young people with the world still wide open before them. How can we help this generation choose work and a life that truly energizes them? That is exactly what this case study is all about.
Why do so many students end up in studies that don’t really fit?
Why do talented young people drop out, or passionate teachers burn out?
And how can we make education work better for everyone involved?
During this case study, you will team up with fellow students to tackle some of the most pressing questions of our time:
- How can AI, data, and smart digital concepts help young people make study and career choices that genuinely match who they are?
- How can we use behavior, interests, and data responsibly to make these choices more fun, more personal, and more effective?
Your ideas will also touch on bigger issues:
- the pressure on the education system;
- the growing shortage of engaged teachers;
- and the urgent need to make learning fun, relevant, and future-proof.
And you won’t be doing this alone. You will be working alongside Arko van Brakel: the first commercial internet entrepreneur in the Netherlands, known for his bold vision on technology, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
Nieuwe Helden, a joint initiative of Arko and Indicia, will take the best ideas from this hackathon and present them in a special session this fall to 80 leading education changemakers. Our experts at Indicia can’t wait to challenge your thinking and spark new ideas.
This is your chance to make a real impact. Whether you are training AI models, crafting communication strategies, or translating behavioral data into useful tools. Your skills can truly make a difference.
Join us. Let’s build the future of meaningful study choices, motivation, and purpose. We kick off at 13:00 and wrap up around 17:30 at the office of Indicia (Spoorlaan 348, 5038 CC Tilburg)
