Milan Baars - Chair

My name is Milan Baars and I am the chair of Study Association Flow for the upcoming year. I am 20 years old and come from Doesburg in Gelderland. Next year will be my third year in Tilburg, as I moved here at the beginning of my first year as a Communication and Information Sciences student. In the introduction week, I immediately signed up as a member of Flow, while I wanted to meet new people as soon as possible. I settled really quickly at the association and felt I was in the right place. Flow and its members really made my years in Tilburg enjoyable. In these years I was active in the Introduction Committee and last year I was responsible for the (online) City Trip and the Association Weekend. I am very much looking forward to the upcoming year as a member of the Board of Flow and all new experiences this year entails!

Puck Outshoorn - Secretary

My name is Puck Outshoorn and I will take on the role of Secretary in the 20th board of Study Association Flow. I’m 21 years old and was born and raised in Breda. I moved to Tilburg in my first year of studying Communication- and Information Sciences. I became a member of the Informal Activities Committee that year, and organized drinks with my fellow committee members. Last year, I was in the Sports and Games Committee. Flow made me feel at home right away, and I knew early on that I wanted to do more for this association. Being a board member will be a challenge, but it’s one I’m ready to take on and I’m looking forward to seeing what this year has in store for me!

Jennifer Steenkamp - Treasurer

My name is Jennifer Steenkamp and I’ll be the treasurer of Study Association Flow this year. I’m 21 years old and born in Eersel (a small village near Eindhoven) and I moved to Tilburg two years ago when I started my studies. In my first year as a CIS student I already became active within Flow. First I was a member of the InFlow committee, which included a lot of writing and interviewing people for our magazine. In my second year I was the commissioner of the Informal Activities Committee, where I organized a lot of (online) parties and activities. Furthermore, I like to sing and dance to K3 music, to cook, and to have a beer sometimes. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming year!

Rosa van der Vleuten - Internal Affairs & Vice-chair

My name is Rosa van der Vleuten and I will be fulfilling the role of Internal Affairs and Vice-chair in 2021-2022. I am currently 20 years old and after moving away from Amsterdam I grew up in Beek en Donk, a small town between Eindhoven and Helmond. When I started my studies in Tilburg in 2019 I immediately signed up for Flow the first day the registrations opened. In the past two years, I have been active both as a member and the commissioner of the inFlow committee where I have been responsible for a growing number of magazines and newsletters. In my free time, I also like to do all kinds of artistic things, and I’m very into cooking. I decided I wanted to try to become a board member at Flow in November 2019, so I’m ready to go and greatly looking forward to broadening my horizon and seeing just how much I’m capable of and what I can still learn.

Lynn Willems - External Affairs

My name is Lynn Willems and this year I will fill the position of External Affairs in the 20th board of Study Association Flow. I am from Gennep, a small town in the north of Limburg. I moved to Tilburg two years ago, when I was only 17 years old, to study Communication- and Information Sciences. I instantly became active at Flow by joining the Introduction Committee in my first year. I loved the committee so much that I also did the committee the year after, but as a commissioner. In this committee we are responsible for the freshmen activities and the annual Flow Introduction Weekend. Organizing these activities and attending other Flow activities have taught me a lot. Flow has given me so many fun memories and good times, so I’m looking forward to giving back to the association. I know this year will be a challenge, but I love to challenge myself and see what I can accomplish.
