Description
Do you have a passion for improving software quality? Indicia Betawerk is looking for an enthusiastic intern to help us develop and integrate automated front-end testing into our workflow. During this internship, you will focus on setting up and optimizing front-end tests that prevent regression effects, check WCAG guidelines, and potentially validate other quality requirements. You will use Playwright (https://playwright.dev/) for this. You will have plenty of room to research, experiment, and improve. You will investigate, experiment, optimize, advise, and develop.
What are you going to do?
You will become part of our Drupal development team and will work on:
- Researching best practices for automated front-end testing;
- Developing a concrete recommendation for implementing Playwright within our existing workflow;
- Conducting experiments, setting up test environments, and—where possible—implementing your recommendations;
- Collaborating with our developers to determine the approach that best fits our projects and clients;
- Developing a general testing policy for Betawerk based on Playwright;
- Applying this testing approach to specific client projects.
Who are you?
- You are a student in a relevant HBO program in computer science, software engineering, or ICT.
- You have knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and Playwright.
- You also have a good command of HTML, CSS, and REST APIs / CI/CD.
- You can think analytically and have an eye for detail.
Are you ready for an exciting and educational internship in our Drupal team? Do you enjoy working in a professional team with plenty of room for development, creativity, and growth? And are you comfortable occasionally working at our location in Heerlen? Then apply easily below.
Do you have any questions? Please contact Sasja Vos, our internship coordinator, at sasja.vos@indicia.nl.
