 vities Committee organizes the Pietengym! New to this Dutch tradition? Eve
 ry year in early December\, the Netherlands celebrates Sinterklaas. Accord
 ing to the story\, Sinterklaas rides his horse across the rooftops\, while
  his helpers\, the Pieten (singular: Piet)\, climb down the chimneys to de
 liver presents. To get ready for this\, many Dutch primary schools hold a 
 Pietengym in the weeks before: a gym class turned into an obstacle course 
 where children train to become real Pieten. Now it's your turn! Climb rope
 s and wall bars as if they were rooftops\, balance on the beam\, crawl thr
 ough the chimney\, and throw the presents exactly where they need to go. W
 ill you earn your Piet Diploma by the end of the evening? You don't need t
 o be sporty to join: the Pietengym is all about having fun\, not about per
 formance. Wear sports clothes and clean indoor sports shoes\, and bring a
